Pakuwon Owns Biggest Solar Panel in East Java 

 

Surabaya, December 10th, 2024 – As part of Pakuwon Jati’s commitment in reducing carbon emission, Royal Plaza has just completed the activation of its Solar Power Plant. This 4,835 m2 solar panel is the largest in East Java for Mall category and has been installed with total capacity of 863.5 kWp.

 

 

The reduction in electricity cost is projected at 8% annually, which is equivalent to decrease in carbon emission of approximately 685 tons of CO2e or equal to absorption of CO2 by more than 1,500 trees. With this addition, Pakuwon has contributed a total of 1,648 tons of CO2e or equivalent to CO2 absorption of 3,700 trees annually from all malls with operating solar panel.
